Franklin Templeton has today completed its £45m cash purchase of Rensburg Fund Management from Investec.
Rensburg's six-strong team runs UK Equity Income, UK Blue Chip Growth, UK Midcap Growth, UK Select Growth, UK Smaller Companies, and UK Managers' Focus funds, and has about £935m in assets under management. Franklin Templeton says the Leeds-based group's focus on UK equities complements its own offering, which is particularly strong in emerging market equities.
