Vanguard launches two government bond funds

Vanguard is bringing two government bond funds to market on 3 February, taking the number of products in its UK index-tracking range to 14.

Vanguard UK Inflation-linked Gilt Index invests in the Barclays Capital UK Government 15+ Float Adjusted Bond index, providing exposure to UK government bonds with maturities greater than 15 years. The Vanguard UK Long-Duration Gilt Index fund tracks the Barclays Capital UK Government Inflation-Linked Float Adjusted Bond index, a float adjusted market-capitalisation weighted index offering exposure to inflation-linked UK government bonds with maturities greater than one year.
