LVAM considers launch of strategic bond mandate

LVAM is mulling the launch of a strategic bond fund to add to its fixed interest range.

The fund is at the design stage and is expected to come to market at some point this year, according to the firm’s head of fixed interest, Michael Wright. Wright, who with his four-strong team is responsible for £5bn in AUM, says: “We have a good track record in corporate bonds and gilts, both are top quartile, and we have an internal track record for asset allocation within the fixed interest funds. “The next logical stage is to offer the asset allocation on top of the stock selection offered within the corporate bond and gilt vehicles. “We are just trying to figure out what type ...
