Gartmore's Himsworth cut under Henderson takeover

Gartmore fund managers Leigh Himsworth, John Anderson and Dan Roberts are among seven exiting the firm as Henderson reveals its new line up.

In the long-awaited shakeup of the fund range, Henderson confirmed Leigh Himsworth's UK Alpha and UK Growth funds will merge into the Henderson UK Alpha fund. Himsworth himself is exiting along with John Anderson, Dan Roberts, Jan De Bruijn, Mike Gleason and Kam Tugnait. Henderson said Anderson's range of funds would be merged into the existing Henderson bond fund range. His Corporate Bond fund is merging into the All Stocks Credit fund, while the Fixed Interest fund becomes part of the Sterling Bond fund.
