Gartmore's Anderson joins J.P. Morgan

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has appointed Gartmore's ex-head of credit John Anderson.

Anderson joins as portfolio manager in the fixed income team, reporting to head of credit Lisa Coleman, and will take on the management of her £53m Sterling Corporate Bond fund. Anderson was among seven managers who did not make the move to Henderson Global Investors following its takeover of Gartmore. He previously managed the Gartmore Corporate Bond, Fixed Income, and SICAV European Corporate Bond funds. He joined Gartmore in February 2009 from Rensburg.
