Threadneedle's Vanessa Donegan has stepped down from her position as co-manager of the £130m Global Emerging Markets Equity fund, handing it to recent hire Irina Miklavchich.
Miklavchich joined Threadneedle in February from Goldman Sachs where she was a member of the global emerging markets team. Donegan, the head of Asia ex Japan, and co-manager Rafael Polatinsky will support Miklavchich in running the portfolio. Miklavchich said she will look to tap into emerging market stocks which are heavily exposed to domestic consumption and corporate investment, as she expects growth to thrive in these areas.
