Franklin Templeton Investments has been given the all-clear from the FSA to rebrand Rensburg Fund Management.
As part of the move all six of Rensburg's unit trusts will adopt the Franklin Templeton name, subject to unitholder approval, which includes Paul Spencer's £513m UK Mid Cap Growth trust. The rebranding follows the group's £45m acquisition of Rensburg in January. Ian Wilkins, head of UK distribution at Franklin Templeton, said the Rensburg fund managers will remain the same, as will the fund's investment objectives.
