UBS Global Asset Management has announced multiple hires to boost its fixed income and global offerings.
The group has appointed Kevin Zhao as senior portfolio manager for global sovereign strategies, reporting to Rob Gambi, global head of fixed income. Zhao joins from Union Bancaire Privée where he managed absolute return strategies. Also joining the fixed income team is Paul Lambert in the role of head of currency, reporting to Gambi. Lambert will be responsible for currency alpha and other currency strategies. He joins from Polar Capital where he was head of macro strategies.
