BlackRock Corporate Bond manager Shuttleworth quits

Paul Shuttleworth, manager of the £115m BlackRock Corporate Bond fund, has resigned after 11 years at the firm.

Simon Blundell will take over as manager of the Corporate Bond fund, which is top quartile over three years in the IMA £ Corporate Bond sector. He joined the firm from Aviva Investors last month. Blundell was previously head of institutional credit portfolio management at Aviva. Shuttleworth ran the Corporate Bond fund between August 2004 and April 2007, and again from November 2010 following the departure of Daniel McKernan for SWIP.
