Cosh takes lead role on European Assets trust

F&C's Sam Cosh has taken over the lead management of the European Assets trust following the departure of Paras Anand to Fidelity.

Cosh, a director of European equities, will take on the lead management of the £92m trust, having co-managed it since the second half of 2010, supported by F&C's 10-strong European Equity team. In a statement, the trust's board said: "In reaching this decision, the boards have taken into account the company’s strong investment performance relative to the benchmark index since June 2010, following the adoption of the process being applied by the F&C European Equity team to the management of the company’s investment portfolio."
