AXA Investment Managers has confirmed plans for a global strategic bond fund for fixed income manager Nick Hayes.
Hayes has run the AXA Sterling Strategic Bond fund since June last year, after taking over from Julie Lamirel. A spokesperson for AXA IM confirmed the fund was in the development stage. AXA IM already offers two other products in the Strategic Bond sector, aside from Hayes' Sterling Strategic Bond fund. These are the AXA Framlington Managed Income fund and the AXA Sterling Long Bond fund.
