The Financial Conduct Authority has appointed a former managing director from Bank of America Merrill Lynch to head its investment banking supervision team.
Julia Hoggett - who was in charge of debt capital markets products in her previous role - will join in May as head of investment banking in the regulator's supervision division. Hoggett has a wealth of experience, having also been chief executive of DEPFA ACS Bank Ireland, as well as covered capital markets at J.P. Morgan.
