Investors should be turning their attention to small-cap stocks, instead of their larger counterparts, to play the export-led recovery in Europe, according to S.W. Mitchell Capital's Jamie Carter.
The manager of the SWMC Small Cap European fund said the belief that small caps in Europe tend to be domestically-led is a "huge misconception" and there are many global companies within the space. "Lots of small caps are exposed to the export-led recovery. I have spent a lot of time visiting companies in Europe and this is pretty broad-based.
