T. Rowe Price continues sales team expansion with Legg Mason hire

Tom Ormrod joins firm

Tom Ormrod, a business development director at Legg Mason, is leaving the firm to join T. Rowe Price, Investment Week can reveal.

Ormrod will be joining head of UK business John Yule, who moved to T. Rowe Price in December 2014, having previously worked at F&C as head of retail. In his new role Ormrod will be relationship manager for the South of the UK (excluding London and including the Channel Islands), with the aim to build the group's relationships with wealth managers and fund buyers. The move follows a recent hire of Simon King, previously relationship manager at Woodford Investment Management, to join Yule's team last month.
