Franklin Templeton launches global currency fund for Hasenstab and Desai

Franklin Templeton Investments has launched a global currency fund for Templeton Global Macro Group's Michael Hasenstab and Sonal Desai.

The Templeton Global Currency fund is a sub-fund of the Luxembourg-registered Franklin Templeton Investment Funds range. It will use a benchmark unconstrained approach to maximise returns by investing predominately in securities and instruments offering long or short exposure to currencies of any country, including developed and developing markets.
