International Life, Standard Bank Offshore Group and Canada Life International are among those life groups successful in this year's International Fund & Product Awards.
Jersey was crowned the Best International Financial Centre and Fidelity Worldwide Investment Best Offshore Fund Group.
Now in their 15th year, the Professional Adviser International Fund & Product Awards recognise those groups which are at the cutting edge of distributing financial products and services internationally.
Commenting on those achieving success in this year’s awards, chair of the judging panel, Deborah Benn said: “This year was probably the most closely fought set of awards ever.
“The quality of entries was particularly high, which meant the judges had a real task on their hands in terms of coming up with outright winners.
“It was interesting to see how entrants are coping with competitive pressures and tackling the continued evolution of the regulatory environment, and we will no doubt see what effect new strategies will have on business propositions over the coming year.”
In selecting the winners and those highly commended, judges took into account a number of features including commitment to target market, appropriateness of product range and/or services, transparency, and levels of service and support to distributors.
As well as assessing entries, the judges took account of the opinions of advisers via an online voting system plus financial strength, measurements by AKG Actuaries & Consultants. Best in class awards were given for a particular proposition or service that shone out above all others.
