LatAm offers investors 'one of the few bright spots in markets'

As an investment region, Latin America has generally been considered as part of global emerging markets, with few investors choosing to invest in it specifically. 

However, while many other emerging markets have had a rocky ride so far this year, the LatAm region has held up, and with the two investment trusts that cover it sitting on substantial discounts, analysts suggest now might be the time to take a closer look at the region In previous years, Latin America has underperformed emerging market and developed peers.
