This week, we chat to Alex Sumner, a portfolio manager at Blackfinch Investments. What has been your most successful asset allocation decision so far?  At the end of Q3 we increased our cash weightings as well as exposure to our alternatives funds. This provided us with a lower level of volatility through the period, and in some cases, individual funds within our portfolios saw a positive return during what was a challenging period.
