This week, we chat to James Yardley, senior research analyst at Chelsea Financial Services. What has been your most successful asset allocation decision so far? In our view, the traditional 60% equity 40% bonds-style of investing is dead. Quantitative easing has distorted markets and we find it very hard to find any value in most fixed income at the current yields. We are concerned about the possibility of a disorderly sell-off in bond and equity markets at the same time.
