This week, we chat to Jakob Payne, an investment manager at Forrester-Hyde. What has been your most successful asset allocation decision so far? At Forrester-Hyde, we adopt strategic and tactical asset allocation, and have a number of examples of successful short-term asset allocation calls, such as allocating to alternatives before the 2018 Q4 pullback, which saw our JPM Global Macro Opportunities fund protect capital in a falling market, returning -0.34% vs the MSCI World's -7.44%.
