Jeremy Thomas joined Sarasin in 2016 after nearly 12 years at Allianz Global Investors, tasked with revitalising the firm's global equities business. Sarasin's thematic global equity funds had lagged industry peers in the years prior to his arrival, but a change in management approach over the last three years appears to have paid off.  Since his arrival to 27 November 2019, the Sarasin Thematic Global Equity and Responsible Global Equity funds have both beaten the IA Global sector average of 39.6%, with returns of 47.7% and 48.9% respectively.
