"We are moving towards a hybrid working model," says Erich Gerth, chief executive of BlueBay Asset Management. During some of the most trying months of the pandemic "when there was no income in fixed income", the fund manager still saw its assets grow.  In the year through to 30 November, assets under management rose by 7% to $77.7bn under Gerth's watch as clients sought out "familiar faces" and the firm adapted to remote working.
