Ahead of International Women’s Day 2024, Eve Maddock-Jones, features editor at Investment Week, hosted a two-part conversation with members of the Diversity Project’s Pathway Programme to discuss how this first-of-its-kind scheme came to be, as well as a wider conversation about the barriers still facing women within financial services.

The Pathway Programme launched in 2023 as a solution to the lack of female fund managers in the asset management industry. In this first instalment, chair of the scheme Helena Morrissey sat alongside graduate of the Programme Konul Mustafayeva, assistant portfolio manager and senior portfolio engineer at Fidelity International, and Paridhi Garg, an investment analyst on the fixed income strategy at Jupiter Asset Management, to explain the Programme, from its creation, to experiences and lessons learned.
