After a rocky period on its UK desk, Threadneedle's head of equities, Michael Taylor, took control of the retail fund range when former UK equity head Graham Kitchen left the group in August. One of a long line of departures over the past year, Kitchen had initially been brought in to propel the group's UK equity range into the top quartile.
