Bernstein uses 'intersection of opportunities' to boost returns

Veteran manager brings 20 years' investment experience to US Equity Value portfolio, growing assets under management to £50m on its three-year anniversary

Next week marks the three-year anniversary of the US Equity Value fund, a mirror of Brown Advisory's $1.2bn Value Equity fund run by director of large-cap value Richard Bernstein. In this time, Bernstein, who has over 20 years' investment industry experience, having previously been director of research at Mercantile Safe Deposit & Trust Company, has grown assets under management in the Dublin-domiciled Ucits vehicle to £50m.
