UK All Companies vehicles ride market rally, beating All Share

Top 10 groups in sector gained at least 56% over past 12 months, with more than half seeing gains of 30% or more

UK All Companies funds have taken advantage of the strong rally this year – with the average vehicle up 33% over the 12 months to 30 November, almost 9% higher than the FTSE All Share. According to Morningstar, the top 10 UK All Companies funds have gained at least 56% over the past 12 months, and more than half of the 305 funds in the sector have seen gains of 40% or more. Richard Penny’s L&G UK Alpha Trust fund is ranked third over the past 12 months, up 90%. His portfolio also tops the peer group over three years with 42.2% growth, compared to a sector average decline of 8.9%. ...
