James Smith's Ignis Global Growth fund tops IMA Global Growth sector over one year with returns of 50.7%, against 21.3% sector average

Over one year to 29 January, the IMA Global Growth sector increased 21.3% with the difference between the best and worst performing funds standing at over 44%, according to Morningstar. The IMA Global Growth sector currently consists of 182 funds with a remit to invest at least 80% in equities, with no more than 80% in UK assets. Over the 12 months to 29 January the top three funds in the sector have returned more than 45%. James Smith’s £40m Ignis Global Growth fund is the top performer over one year, up 50.7%.
