Manager of the City Financial Strategic Gilt fund is the only FE Alpha Manager in the UK Gilt sector.

Over five years Williams has outperformed his peer group more often than not, with a better record in falling markets than in rising markets. In the former he has outperformed his peers in the only year he has been exposed. In rising markets he has beaten his peers in two out of a possible four years. His annualised total return over 4.7 years is 10.6%. The £95m City Financial Strategic Gilt fund aims to offer a superior risk adjusted return over that of a passive holding of a conventional gilt portfolio with similar risk characteristics.
