UK income sectors have been hit by a string of regulatory interventions. Simon Gergel, manager of the Merchants Trust, highlights the sectors that could be next.

Recent months have been an eventful period for income investors. We have had an unusual level of political and regulatory announcements and interventions across quite a few sectors where there are high yielding companies.
