Playing the election game: City's Harris adds to India as market soars

City Financial's Mark Harris has increased exposure to India following the election, despite concerns over the prospects for emerging markets if developed economies continue to wind up stimulus packages.

Harris, who is head of multi-asset and manages the City Financial Diversified, Balanced, Growth, and Dynamic funds, already had positions in the region, but has increased exposure in some of his funds. Within the Multi-Asset Dynamic fund, he now has a 4% position in the Amundi ETF MSCI India and 2% in investment trust India Capital Growth. “We have added to the Amundi ETF, which has been startlingly good since the elections and is very promising over the long term.
