FE Research casts an eye across the investment universe to find lesser-known funds for your portfolios

Global funds have traditionally found it tough to outperform, with the majority in the IMA Global and Global Equity Income sectors falling behind the MSCI World and FTSE World indices in recent years. Many have been criticised for being benchmark-huggers, but one fund that most certainly bucks the trend is the Invesco Perpetual Global Opportunities fund, run by FE Alpha Manager Stephen Anness and Andrew Hall.
