Regional equity valuations look attractive with plenty of opportunities to invest in companies with decent yields, low valuations, and reasonable growth prospects. At the moment, Hong Kong-listed Chinese companies provide the best opportunity to achieve this compelling combination, particularly within the under-researched mid-cap space. We see evidence of a moderate slowdown in China's economic growth as good news.
