The severe lack of proven emerging market funds that remain open to new money is forcing investors and advisers to look off the beaten track. Some are looking to boutique houses, some to investment trusts, while others are looking at funds with a limited track record. A potentially interesting option that ticks the last of these boxes is the Newton Global Emerging Markets fund, run by Rob Marshall-Lee.
