US markets suffered their worst drop so far in 2015 earlier this month, as concerns continued to mount over Greece's exit from the euro. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones each recorded their worst one-day drop since 9 October 2014 on 1 July, as the European Central Bank froze funding for Greece, forcing banks to close ahead of the country's referendum on bailout demands.
