Rosemary Banyard wins Outstanding Contribution award

Schroders' Rosemary Banyard, Henderson Global Investors, and Woodford Patient Capital trust were among the winners at last night's ceremony in London.

This year's Outstanding Industry Contribution award was presented to Rosemary Banyard (pictured). The judging panel wanted to recognise a fund manager who has been a previous winner, and commended her for consistently looking after shareholders in small- and mid-cap investment trusts. It was announced last month that Banyard is leaving Schroders to pursue new opportunities, although she will continue in her role until 31 March, 2016.
