Artemis UK equity income manager Adrian Frost believes fund management has become harder in the last decade because of the disruptive nature of business and markets.
Speaking at Investment Week's June Funds to Watch conference, the manager (pictured) said relatively speaking, selecting stocks during the earlier part of his career was straightforward as sectors and companies in the UK largely reverted to their mean performance over time. Frost has managed the £6.2bn Artemis Income fund since 2002 and recently committed to at least another three years on the vehicle. He previously worked at Deutsche Asset Management for 18 years.
