Asset managers' implementation of digitisation has been described as "small steps, not giant leaps" in a recent report, but social media could be the exception.
While there was "ample" recognition among asset managers of the need for digitisation, the Digitisation of asset and wealth management: promise and pitfall report by CREATE Research said there was "a deeply ingrained scepticism" about untried and untested tools.
