The Financial Wellbeing Index report by Close Brothers, released in tandem with Mental Health Awareness week (13-17 May), has revealed that companies are lacking when it comes to supporting the financial wellbeing of their employees.
Of those surveyed for the Close Brothers report, 55% claimed that their workplace offers no aid to help improve an employee's financial wellbeing. As a result, 55.6 out of 100 admitted their work performance has been affected by financial concerns. Meanwhile, 94% of those surveyed said they worry about money with 28% of them revealing that they are unhappy with the current state of their finances.
