Award-winning manager keeps it simple, liquid and transparent to rank first in Specialist Bond group
Threadneedle Emerging Market Bond was recently named the best Specialist Bond vehicle at the Investment Week 2009 Fund Manager of the Year awards. The £419m fund is top ranked out of 33 vehicles in the IMA Global Bonds sector over five years to 31 August, up 61.9% against an average 35.7% gain, according to Morningstar. Over one year the fund has climbed 18.4%, against a 13.7% sector average.
