Managers believe the easy money has been made in the IMA £ Strategic Bond sector and opportunities will prove harder to find in future
Having the ability to invest across the fixed interest spectrum, strategic bond funds are increasing in popularity as investors use manager expertise to identify the best opportunities across bond markets. The IMA £ Strategic Bond sector includes 65 funds with a remit to invest at least 80% of assets in sterling denominated (or hedged back to sterling) fixed interest securities.
