Over the course of my 30-year career, I’ve written several outlook pieces. In the old days, a dissection of what was happening in the US, in the UK, and in Europe provided enough of a template. To view each segment in isolation is almost nonsensical. We have experienced both the triumphs and tribulations of a very integrated system over the past decade, and any outlook must now reflect this.
