With valuations in many equities discounting an overly bearish outcome in developed-world markets, now could be a good time to go global, writes Invesco's Paul Boyne

Investors in the UK are familiar with equity income, but global equity income investing is generally less well known to them. What may surprise many investors is, regardless of geography, reinvested dividends have been responsible for a significant and, in most instances, majority share of total returns from equity markets, so the rewards of this style of investment have proven to be substantial.
