As Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Fund Services celebrates its 20th anniversary, we have launched a new long-term fund designation for fund management ratings, in recognition of those funds that have consistently achieved an S&P fund management rating over the past five consecutive years. More than 250 funds have done this, and some of these, such as First State’s Asia Pacific fund (formerly the Stewart Ivory Asia Pacific fund), Jupiter Financial Opportunities fund and Fidelity US High Yield fund, have been assigned an S&P AAA rating for five consecutive years and significantly longer.
