Aberdeen’s Hugh Young was one of the first managers to see the potential of investing in Asia, launching his first funds in the region in the 1980s. The flagship Asia Pacific fund now has more than £2bn assets under management, and is part of a product range that includes pan-Asian and single country portfolios with a combined $32.2bn (£20.8bn) of assets.
