On 3 October 2010, Brazilians in their millions will go to the polls to elect a successor to the hugely popular outgoing President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. In the race to succeed him, there are really only two frontrunners, according to the opinion polls: Dilma Rousseff and Jose Serra.
