Smith & Williamson currently manages over £9bn of assets across a diverse set of specialised funds.
While the firm is not as well known as many other smaller and aggressively marketed retail fund management houses, it is focused on increasing its presence in the sector. As part of this drive, the group hired Nick Hodgson from Framlington in 2008 to head up marketing and sales.
