J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Neil Gregson took over the £1.7bn Natural Resources fund from well-known commodities manager Ian Henderson at the start of this year and has not had an easy run to date. Mining and resources funds across the board have struggled to perform in the last year, with Morningstar’s Europe OE Sector Equity Natural Resources peer group down an average 5.41% over the 12 months to 22 October. Gregson’s fund fell 7.14% over the period, ranking it 15 out of 24 funds in the sector. Over three years, the fund fell 6.41% against an average 13.48% from the sector. G...
