Wealth managers reveal their IT strategies

Annabelle Williams asks two wealth managers which investment trusts have made it on to their buy lists.

Simon Reeks, head of private client investment, management, Midas Investment Management Over the past six months I bought the Merchants trust on a discount of about 12% to net asset value (NAV). This is historically slightly wider than normal, but it has a dividend yield of about 6%. We also hold the British Assets trust, which is similar in the discount and yield but has a slight variation on the page as it is more exposed to pharmaceuticals.
