Within the emerging market universe, investors have historically had a tendency to focus their attention on the two main regional blocks of Asia and Latin America. An area which is often overlooked, but which is now increasingly coming on to investors’ radar screens, is Africa. As well as being the richest continent in terms of natural resources, the African continent contains some of the fastest growing economies in the world today.
