The Alternative Investment Market (AIM) has been trading close to a multi-year high after new rules allowing the stocks to be included in ISA portfolios came in to effect in August. While the market is trading well below its glory days of 2006, when it peaked at over 7,000, the index reached 3,604 in August – its highest level since 2008.
